It’s a snail! For Discussion

1. The French created a gourmet dish using snails (escargot). Have you ever tried it? If you haven’t, would you try it? What foods have you eaten that are not eaten in other cultures? 

2. Some people keep snails as pets (you don’t believe me? Look at the first link under “try this!”) What pets have you had? Would you like to have a pet if you don’t now? What kind? What are some advantages to having pets? What are some disadvantages?
