Beijing Olympics - 2008
The 2008 Summer Olympics will be held from August 8 to August 24 in Beijing, China. This is an interesting lesson for students. If school is in session, students can be taught about geography, recreation, and world customs. I’ve put up a page about the Summer Olympics including a slideshow on China, another one on the Summer Olympics, dictations at two levels with comprehension, and a word search. There are also other resources for learning about the olympics all over the web, such as the page at elcivics.com.
