Microsoft Word Icon Practice
Bingo Game

For teacher’s use in the classroom
Directions Below

1. Download the blank “Computer Bingo” page.
2. Present an icon image - on the board, in a slideshow, or on flash cards.
3. Ask the students to correctly name the icon, then have them draw the icon on their bingo card in a random spot (ensuring a different card for each student).
4. When you have presented 24 icons, the student’s cards will be filled. Begin the bingo game.

Icon suggestions: new, save, grammar and spelling check, copy, open, print preview, print, undo, redo, cut, paste...

Students remember the icons by repetition: they first identified them, then drew them, and finally reviewed them in a game.

A note about this page...

The page was originally a place for my VESL students to easily link to practices. But since it’s already here, I’m going to continue to add and improve it for everyone. Let me know what you would like to see here. eslhome@gmail.com
